Take advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity to skate areas in DC that, normally, are strictly prohibited, especially to skaters. How often do you get a chance to launch down the Capital steps or try your skills on those massive rails and hubbas? You know you've always wanted to, daydreamed about it, but known it's an absolute impossibility. Not anymore. It's all yours to explore.
Play around at the Capital building, get some runs in front of the Space and Aeronautics Museum on possibly the best ledges in all of DC, carve around in the drained fountains, or hit the rails in front of the art gallery.
You'll get a unique break if you spend some time on the 'Rigging' path to actually get inside our custom Space and Aeronautics Museum. Tear the place up, enjoying some insane lines taking you from the history of flight area all the way to the moon room.
Freedom Plaza is a monumental skate spot for skaters worldwide. The place is full of perfect marble ledges. The huge open space is great for flatground and the differing heights of the ledges and stair sets set up all kinds of different gaps making this a skater's dream. Unfortunately, like all great skate spots, you're not really supposed to be skating here. That's where we come in. Now you can throw down lines all day long without being hassled by security.
Every great city has a great transportation hub and DC is no slouch. Of course you can't really skate in Union Station in real life so we help by opening it up for you. Take the rails back to Philly but please, careful around those trains ok?
